I just launched a new one-page website for Keenes Woodcraft.
I took a therapist theme and completely transformed it into a woodworking artist/maker portfolio, with lots of photos showcasing his projects, a section about what he does, a little about him, and an easy way to get in touch.
The design uses warm browns and creams inspired by natural wood tones, with brighter blues for a little contrast.
He wanted something simple that would help people find him when searching for woodworking in the San Francisco area and give him a professional presence on Google Maps.
It’s essentially a visual artist portfolio designed for a woodworker, and if he decides he wants to sell his work online later, the site can easily expand into a shop by adding purchase buttons to the project photos.
I love taking a design that was created for one type of business and completely reworking it for something totally different.
