ChatGPT Tip for Getting Your Website Found in ChatGPT

by | Oct 27, 2025 | Business Strategy, SEO, Small Business | 0 comments

I check my website traffic stats pretty often—maybe even too often—but lately, I’ve noticed an interesting trend: some of my traffic is coming from ChatGPT. A business coach I know mentioned that some of her clients are seeing less traffic from paid Google Ads, while competitors are showing up in ChatGPT results.

That got me thinking… why not optimize your website for ChatGPT directly? I’ve even been receiving emails about expensive workshops on getting your website discovered in ChatGPT. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars, I decided to test a simpler approach: asking ChatGPT itself to rewrite my website text so it’s more likely to be found there.

Here’s the prompt I use for ChatGPT SEO:

“Please rewrite the following website text so it is clear, concise, and optimized for AI programs to find online. Make it easy for search engines and AI tools to understand the topic and key phrases. Keep the original meaning, highlight key concepts, and include natural variations of the main keywords.”

It might sound like a prayer before a ritual, but in reality, it’s a practical tool that helps your content get discovered—without paying for an expensive workshop.

Of course, I also use other strategies to optimize each website page I design, so it’s more likely to get found. But I’ve found that even small tweaks using ChatGPT SEO can lead to surprisingly powerful results.
