Hey friends—it’s that time again: Mercury Retrograde is back, and it’s making its presence known. Are you experiencing weird tech issues, website glitches, or miscommunications lately? You’re not alone. While I was on vacation visiting family last week (great timing, right?), I discovered some unexpected chaos on my own website. My hosting account ran out of space, several images vanished from key pages, and my contact form decided to go on strike.

Picture me in a hotel room, laptop on the bed, scrambling to delete unused files and restore my site before anything got disabled. I managed to fix the image issues and contact form a few days later—but it was a classic Mercury Retrograde moment: technology breakdowns, things going missing, and needing to double-check everything.

If you’re not familiar, Mercury Retrograde is an astrological event when the planet Mercury appears to move backward in the sky. It’s known for disrupting communication, travel, and—yes—technology. This current retrograde runs from July 17 to August 10, 2025, with lingering effects before and after. But it’s not all bad—retrograde periods are ideal for revisiting, reviewing, and redoing things, especially digital projects. So if you’re thinking about redoing your website, fixing bugs, or optimizing for better performance, this is actually the perfect time to dive in. Need a hand? Email me at heather@studiothirdeye.com. If I can fix my own tech mess from a hotel room, I can help with yours.
