The importance of smaller steps to reaching your goals

by | Jan 13, 2025 | Business Strategy, How To | 0 comments

I decided that the only way I am going to make time for my own marketing and personal projects is to take a half hour before I work on client work, and do just that. No excuses.  I made that promise last year, but it did not stick. This year I am doing it no matter what.  This is using small steps to reach a goal instead of trying to figure out how to large chunks to work on something.

You can do that too. Thirty minutes each day before things get crazy, work on your own goals, whether it is to begin a meditation habit, redo your website, create a new product…whatever.  Even if you do not make a milestone, you can keep plugging away each day until you do.

I am finding it is really difficult but I am doing it.  I have my own goals, lots of them, but I know I am not going to reach any of them if I do not make time for it.  For example, I want to re-design all my design templates and market them better.

Thirty minutes is not going to keep you from reaching any deadlines and you will be more motivated for those you are serving when you have made time for yourself.  What are some of your goals and are you doing to make time to work on them?
