How to get sales on Etsy

Once you are ready to list your new product, after research and creation, make sure you do your keyword research and add relevant keyphrases to the title and description of your product. New stores do not get many sales without a little help from ads. Once you start making sales, Etsy will notice your shop and rotate it in search results more. [/sc_fs_faq]Since I have been watching a ton of YouTube videos on how to get sales on Etsy, I thought I would share what I have learned since maybe some of you have an Etsy store connected to your website.  My disclaimer is I do not have a huge success story YET, but I do understand the search engine optimization techniques that are important to use in listing a product.  Many of the videos I watched were pretty long-winded and I finally figured out they were all saying the same thing.  Here are the Cliff Notes steps I gleaned from YouTube on how to make sales on your Etsy store.

How can I promote my Etsy Shop?

Use Everbee for product research. Hook up your Etsy store with Everbee and do a search from Etsy for products you would be interested in creating for your niche. Then go ahead and click on the product analytics button. You will want to look at monthly sales and pick a few that have a high sales volume. You just found a product you can create but make it your own, even better.
