I think the reason for that is that I made some changes to my profile to make sure I show up when folks search for web designers or graphic designers. What did I do, you ask? Well, I added keywords like “Freelance Web Designer” and “Graphic Designer” to my job title. I also sprinkled in some more keywords, such as “Professional Website Designer,” in the description section, and so on.
It’s kind of like when you add meta tags to your website. By including the words that people typically use in their searches to find someone like you, you increase your chances of showing up in those search results. It works pretty effectively.
