Now that we are in the year 2021, I would suggest going through your website with a fine-toothed comb to see what needs to be updated, removed, or added to. Here are a few things to get you started.

Copyright Date
This is a no brainer. It is time to change the date on your website to reflect the new year.

Services, Prices, and Policies
As you work with new clients, you may find that some of your packages and services need to be tweaked a bit more. For me, I found there was some confusion as to what each package included in my Holistic Website Theme Packages and I really needed to word it so there was no confusion. Sometimes you only find this out by putting it out there and getting feedback. Or, your prices have changed. Or, you are not even offering a particular service anymore. This all needs to be changed and updated so you can continue to look and be the professional that you are.

Social Media
Does your social media branding match your website? If not, it might be time to update everything so it is consistent across the board.

Links
Do all the links and buttons on your website go where they are supposed to? I just found out yesterday a button on my website was going somewhere it was not supposed to. It happens to all of us.

Speed
Does your website load in under 3 seconds? If it doesn’t, you should consider using a free service like GtMetrix to show what is slowing it down and how to fix it. Many times, it has to do with the graphics being too large. In addition, there are also a few plugins you can use to speed things up. If your website is too slow, it loses rank in the search engines and it is possible people will not want to stay and learn more about you because they do not want to wait.

Ecommerce
Some products may not be doing very well and it is time to get rid of them and replace them with something new.

Scheduling Calendar
Take a look at your booking calendar to see if your schedule reflects your goals. You might want to keep one day as Unavailable so there are no distractions to your work.

Of course, I can go on, but I think this is a good start to start your website in a good light for the new year. I hope it helps!
